Angelus is a retired trawler - she worked out of Brixham for many years as BM156. At 18.4 metres long she has lots of deck space and seating. She is a comfortable ship to sail in. Passengers can take shelter in the forward cabin which was formerly the fish room, during cold or wet weather, or go to warm up/sleep (five bunks).
Ladies and beginners are very welcome, and free tuition/assistance is provided.

Anglers are welcome to bring their own rods, tackle and bait. It is also available from us.
Janeen Willis is Skipper and has many years commercial fishing experience. From 1970 to 1982 she was the skipper/owner of a trawler-longliner, and has worked at sea from Whitby down to the Thames, including the Wash. In addition to extensive experience of the sea, Janeen has all the required certificates including RYA Yachtmaster Certificate (Offshore), Radio Telephony, DSC short range, Sea Survival, Safety Awareness, Safety at Sea, Fire Fighting, First Aid.
Angelus carries all necessary safety equipment, to specification, and fully serviced/checked.

Please note that bookings are only confirmed on payment of the fee for single angers and small groups. Where booking for a full boat hire a deposit will be accepted with payment in full on the day. If Angelus is unable to sail (eg because of bad weather) any fees paid will be refunded in full, or an alternative date offered, as you prefer.
